Oloye Lekan Alabi, D.Litt(h.c)

Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland and the first Culture Ambassador of the National Museum and Monument, Ile Ife. He started his media career in1973, with the now-defunct Sketch Publishing Company Limited, Ibadan,and joined the former NTV,Ibadan,in 1978, after graduating from the College of Journalism, Fleet Street, London, UK.

In 1982, he joined the former Television Service of Oyo State(TSOS)now BCOS-TV,as a pioneer staff, from where he was seconded, in 1983,as a Press Secretary to the late Governor 'Bola Ige of old Oyo State. He served three military successors of Gov. 'Bola Ige till August 1989,when he was appointed the pioneer Public Affairs Manager of ODU'A INVESTMENT COMPANY LIMITED. In 2006,he voluntarily retired from ODU'A INVESTMENT COMPANY LIMITED, as the pioneer General Manager, Corporate Affairs of the conglomerate.

Oloye Alabi is married, and is blessed with admirable children and grandchildren.

He is a Trustee and the Public Relations Officer of FITAC.
